8 Mendocino coast beaches where your dog is welcome
On the Mendocino coast, the question isn’t whether you can bring the dog. It’s to which beach. The rules change every few miles: off-leash at a couple of spots, a 6-foot leash at most, and a few stretches closed to dogs entirely to protect harbor seals and a threatened shorebird.
