Making history in Camp Meeker
You’ll all say it, but only thirty or so of you will not be fibbing. That is because history was made on a rainy Tuesday evening in Anderson Hall when the Park and Rec Board voted 4-0 (one absence) to approve the purchase of the three hundred-odd acres of wild land, both up the hill from us and in our midst, from St. Dorothy’s, with funding provided by the Ag and Open Space District, funded by sales tax dollars from us and from all Sonoma County residents. There are a million details which I will get to, but first let me tell you about the room where it happened.
