Mendocino County Planning Commission to weigh 74-foot Tibetan temple near Leggett
A Tibetan Buddhist retreat center near Leggett wants to build a temple 73 feet, 9 inches tall, more than twice the 35-foot height limit for its zoning. The Mendocino County Planning Commission takes up the request Thursday, and county planners recommend approval.
