Magnitude 4.0 earthquake strikes north of Lake Pillsbury, felt in Potter Valley
UPDATE 8:46 A.M. — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck at 5:01 a.m. Wednesday about 6 miles north of Lake Pillsbury, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was in Lake County, about a mile south of the Mendocino County line.
